The inception of ComforTrails™ Tents came from a personal camping experience while in college at Nebraska. As one of many, this particular spontaneous camping trip turned out to be an uncomfortable one when we discovered we had left the all-important air mattress behind. While this may not seem like an essential piece for a camping experience to some, it was critical and particularly unfortunate for one, who was still recovering from athletics related back injury. He had to spend the night cramped in a camp chair rather than further damage his back on the rough terrain. It was on this very camping trip that the concept for ComforTrails™ Tents was founded.
After that uncomfortable, yet easily preventable, night, the search began for a hassle-free tent that would ensure that a good night’s sleep was not compromised or forgotten. After exhausting many resources and through very thorough research, we came to the realization that this kind of tent did not currently exist. What began as frustration and forgetfulness turned into innovation. Thus we embarked on the path of developing a unique product, one that would bring a new level of comfort and convenience to camping. This path has seen many different stages along the way and it has culminated in ComforTrails™ Tents: the epitome of comfort, convenience, quality, & affordability.
